Yogurt parfaits have become synonymous with healthy eating and healthy starts to the day. Although I love a good yogurt parfait, I don’t always love how the granola or cereal I choose to use can get soggy and soft by the time I get to it at snack time. Enter yogurt swirls.
I began making these for my first son when he started eating solids. I would do a quick boil of whatever frozen fruit I had in the freezer, blend it up and swirl it into his yogurt. He loved it. And so did I! I wondered why I hadn’t been making these fruit sauces ages ago. Apple sauce get’s all the glory, but this mango puree with a hint of vanilla is absolutely divine. Whip up a batch in under 10 minutes and enjoy it for your breakfast, snack or packed as a treat in your child’s lunch. No more soggy granola.
